Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo reunite in a trailer for the action-packed Netflix film, The Adam Project.
The movie follows a young boy named Adam (Walker Scobell) who joins forces with his time-traveling self (Ryan Reynolds) to save the future.
Jennifer, 49, is seen sharing a tender moment with her former 13 Going On 30 co-star in a flashback of happier times with her on-screen husband, 54.

The trailer begins with Jennifer picking up her son Adam from school after he gets into another fight.
'That's the third time you've been suspended for fighting!' she scolds him.
'I know, you'd think I'd be better at it by now,' he replies.
'I don't understand you,' Jennifer says.
'Dad would,' Adam says.

What's going on? Later, Adam inspects after hearing a crash outside their home
'I miss him too you know,' Jennifer replies as the flashback of her kissing her late husband appears on screen. 'But son, you need to think about your future because it's coming... sooner than you think.'
Little did they know just how right she actually was.
Ryan Reynolds is then seen piloting an aircraft through the night sky before landing near Adam's house.
Adam goes to inspect the wreckage only to find Ryan Reynolds with a bloody gash on his forehead. 'Take it easy,' Ryan tells the kid.
