The star-studded cast for Barbie is set add another high-profile name.
Saturday Night Live alum, Kate McKinnon, is the latest actor to add her name to the growing marquee for the live-action film version based on the iconic doll line, according to Deadline.
Casting for the movie have already landed a couple of A-listers, with Australian actress Margot Robbie having already been tabbed to play Barbie, and American leading man Ryan Gosling on board to play Ken.

Some of the other well-known actors to have signed-on to star in the film include the likes of America Ferrara and Simu Liu.
While more names will sure to be attached to the project, it's still not know exactly who McKinnon will be playing.
During her career, the Long Island, New York native has been nominated for nine Primetime Emmy Awards, which includes Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics and eight for Outstanding Supporting Actress in A Comedy Series, winning in 2016 and 2017.
Multi-talented filmmaker Greta Gerwig is set take the reigns and direct. She co-wrote the script with partner Noah Baumbach, who's best known for his work on The Squid And The Whale (2005) and Marriage Story (2019), which both earned Oscar nominations.
