Linda Evangelista is putting on a brave face after revealing all about a botched cosmetic fat-freezing procedure that left her 'brutally disfigured.'
The Canadian-born supermodel, 56, was pictured in New York City on Wednesday for the first time without a face mask on, after the fashion star defiantly said she was 'done hiding' last week.
Linda, who has a 15-year-old son Augustin with ex François-Henri Pinault, has rarely been seen since undergoing the paradoxical adipose hyperplasia back in 2016.
But dressed casually in all-black loungewear, the 5′ 10″ former cover girl made no attempt to hide her appearance as she stopped by Manhattan's trendy Chelsea Market a week after her bombshell news.

In her bombshell interview, Linda explained she retreated from the public eye after the cosmetic procedure, designed to decrease fat cells, left her 'permanently deformed' when it actually made her cells increase, and bulges began to appear all over her body.
The '90s fashion star - whose French businessman ex is now married to Salma Hayek - revealed she 'stopped eating' because she feared she was losing her mind when she noticed the bulges on her body.
The outing comes after the publication of an interview Linda did with People Magazine, where she said she was 'done hiding' following a CoolSculpting procedure she says 'brutally disfigured' her.

The article also saw Linda pose in her first photo shoot since revealing she had been left 'permanently deformed' from the rare side effects of a cosmetic procedure she underwent six years ago.
In September Linda revealed why she had retreated from the public eye when she claimed she had been 'brutally disfigured due to a rare side effect from the fat-reducing procedure, CoolSculpting.
According to Linda, she had undergone seven sessions of the procedure to 'decrease' her fat cells from August 2015 to February 2016, but instead the procedure 'increased' her fat cells, a peril she insists she was not warned of, so is now taking legal action.
Speaking to People, the Vogue icon detailed how she 'stopped eating' and thought she was losing her mind when bulges began to appear at her chin, thighs and bust area- and how she now 'dreads running into someone she knows' after decades as a catwalk sensation. She also posed for photos showing growths on her bust and legs.
