TikTok superstar Sam Ryder is set to represent the United Kingdom at the upcoming Eurovision song contest when it returns to screens in May.
The singer, 31, will perform his song Space Man at this year's grand final in Italy and insisted that the fear or coming last isn't going to stop him from performing, after the UK placed bottom of the leaderboard for the past two years.
Last year's Eurovision entry James Newman placed bottom of the leaderboard with zero points with 2019's entry Michael Rice also coming last.

The news was revealed by Scott Mills on BBC's Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James, and Sam quickly shared the news on his social media pages.
Speaking to BBC's Radio 1 Newsbeat, Sam, who has 12 million fans on TikTok added: 'I love Eurovision. I think it's such a
