The barristers' clerk, 22, recently admitted she was going through a 'very difficult' time amid her highly-publicised split from 31-year-old former Love Island star Alex after he reportedly cheated on her four times.
On Friday, Ellie revealed she went on antidepressant medication last year and credits the tablets with 'making those bumps in the road a lot smoother'.

She wrote on Instagram: 'Mental health has been a struggle for me since the start of the Pandemic.
'I’m not a stranger to sharing my thoughts on how taking medication when you’re struggling is nothing to be ashamed of.
'I’ve been taking Sertraline for around eight months and I can’t tell you enough how much it’s helped me by making those bumps in the road a lot smoother.
