After entertainment reporter Brooke Boney said she may benefit from some professional advice, Allison replied: 'I don't even get what you're suggesting.

She then gave a mercifully brief demonstration of her pitchy pipes as she screeched: 'Sweet, sweet fantasy, baby.'
Karl cringed at her tone-deaf rendition, then told viewers: 'From all of us here at Today, happy Easter.'
His snide remark was no doubt in response to Allison making fun of his recent weight gain on Wednesday's episode.

He stormed off the set live on air after she implied he was 'fat'.
The pair were discussing the high-profile defamation case involving Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, during which the actor's sister Christi Dembrowski claimed his ex-wife had branded him 'old and fat'.
After the news segment aired at 9:11am, Karl commented, 'Being called a fat old man is like...' before Ally corrected him: 'You're not old.'
