Ruth Wilson cut a chic figure as she received royal honours during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London on Wednesday.
The actress, 40, who has starred in hit TV series such as The Affair and Luther, was named in the 2021 Queen's Birthday Honours list for services to drama.
She was appointed an MBE by the Princess Royal, Anne, stepping out to attend the ceremony in an elegant white ensemble in the first major investiture at Buckingham Palace since the start of the pandemic.

The stunning number fell to her calves with pleated side panels and she added height to her frame with a pair of black pointed toe stilettos.
