His character Owen Grady has been trying to avoid being eaten by a Tyrannosaurus dinosaur for three films now.

But Chris Pratt didn't mind jumping in the mouth of one.

The 42-year-old actor had a bit of fun as he climbed in the mouth of a massive Lego sculpture of the meat-eater dinosaur while promoting Jurassic World: Dominion on Thursday morning.

Chris was appearing on the Today show in New York City where he decided to pose inside of the huge 3,000-pound sculpture made of the iconic Danish plastic bricks.

However his gag did not go over as well as he thought it would have as he posted an Instagram Story of it with the caption: 'They got mad at me.' 

And no doubt they wanted to be precious with the huge piece of art as Lego's sculpting team took around 2,000 hours to design and build it out of 200K bricks.

The dinosaur wasn't the only major process as it was breaking through a glowing backdrop which consisted of nearly 20K translucent bricks which were illuminated from inside of the build.
