Rebel stars in the film as the cheer captain Stephanie Conway, who suffers a head injury ahead of her senior prom that puts her in a two-decade coma.

She awakens to find that the world — and her own body — have changed considerably. Despite now being 37, she re-enrolls in school to graduate on her own terms.

She joked that she would break into the teachers' lounge and 'steal their cookies,' though her crime spree ended when she was 'literally' caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

Another time, she 'locked a teacher in a cupboard,' and she egged other teachers at her all-girls boarding school into threatening to expel her for smoking, though she alerted them afterward that she had only been puffing on a fake cigarette.

Following her high school stint, Rebel went on to get dual degrees in the Arts and Laws, though she ended up focusing on the former.

She admitted that she knew she would be an actress even as she continued to get her law degree after taking a gap year trip to Africa.
