Pia Whitesell and her husband Patrick have welcomed a new addition to their family.

The actress, 38, and Patrick, 57, adopted an adorable Border Collie Pomeranian mix and she introduced him to fans on Sunday.

The brunette beauty shared a sweet snap of her pooch to Instagram and wrote: 'We rescued this little guy today.'
