Odette Annable and husband Dave Annable announced that they are expecting their second child on Sunday via a heartwarming post on Instagram. 

The House star, 36, and the Brothers & Sisters actor, 42, both shared the same black and white Mother's Day video, where they are seen telling their daughter Charlie, six, the exciting news.

'I guess it’s not traditional to give your kid a gift on Mother’s Day. *Exceptions do apply. What a beautiful way to celebrate @odetteannable, the soon to be mama of 2. We certainly know Charlie is excited,' Dave wrote in the caption. 

Meanwhile Odette wrote, 'It's been a very long journey to get here, but we are here and we are thrilled and couldn't be more grateful. A new chapter begins. A very special Mother's Day indeed.'

In the video, the longtime married couple are seated at a table, with Charlie between them, as Dave hands her a box with a toy and an ultrasound image.

A shocked Charlie is then seen asking, 'Are we going to have a baby?' while her parents affirm the happy news. 

Charlie's face then lights up with realization, as she places a hand on her mom's tummy.

Meanwhile Dave whispers, 'It's a real baby. We took this today. That's inside mommy's belly.'

Their daughter is then seen gasping with excitement and covering her mouth, before letting out a scream of joy.
