Dan Stevens is set to lead the cast in the sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong, with Adam Wingard returning as director.
The Downton Abbey actor, 39, has been tapped to play the lead role in the next instalment of Legendary's MonsterVerse film franchise.
According to Deadline, production on the project is slated to begin this summer in Australia, and the film will reunite Dan and Adam after they joined forces on 2014's The Guest.

Godzilla vs. Kong was released in 2021 and starred Alexander Skarsgard and Millie Bobby Brown.
