Freddie Flintoff hilariously joked about the Wagatha Christie trial between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney during Friday's live final of The Games.

The presenter, 44, made a very humorous remark after the results of the women's cycling velodrome race had to be reassessed after contestants raised concern over who won.

After the disputed result was sorted out Freddie cheekily quipped: 'We should get our officials to sort out the Rooney Vardy case!' causing co-host Holly Willoughby to giggle.

The WAGs are currently going head to head at the High Court in a libel trial after Coleen, 36, accused Rebekah, 40, of leaking stories to the press.

Coleen famously posted a long statement alleging her former friend was behind a series of fake stories written about her, signing it off with the iconic line: 'It's Rebekah Vardy's account'.

On The Games the girls were up in arms about the results of the cycling race after Christine McGuinness accidentally overtook the derny during the warm up laps.

Rebecca Sarker and Phoenix Brown had gone to officials to complain that she was given an unfair advantage, but the results remained unchanged after a relook.

Chelcee Grimes and Wes Nelson were crowned the winners of The Games during the tense live final held at the Crystal Palace athletics track on Friday night.

The songstress, 30, and the Love Island star, 24, came top of the women's and men's leaderboards after racking up wins over the week with a series of sporting challenges on the track, in the pool and around the velodrome - while Wes was the overall winner with 45 total points.

During the final the men and women took to the track to both compete in the 100m sprinting race, with Chelcee beating off stiff competition from Olivia Attwood, Phoenix Brown, Christine McGuinness, Rebecca Sarker, and Lucrezia Millarini to cross the line first.
