Eurovision fans have admitted that they are convinced Ben Adams is a member of Norway's act Subwoolfer after Graham Norton doubled down on the rumours.

The singer, 40, rose to fame as part of the British-Norwegian boy band A1 in the 90s and has now prompted speculation that he has returned to stage as part of Subwoolfer.

Norway's Eurovision duo competed in Saturday's final after rising to recognition by winning Melodi Grand Prix 2022, but nobody knows the true identities of the pair, who wear yellow wolf masks on stage.

Subwoolfer, who sang Give That Wolf A Banana alongside dancers in yellow morph suits for the Eurovision final, refer to themselves by the pseudonyms Keith and Jim.

Now, Ben has been hit by rumours that he is one half of Subwoolfer after a Porsche reportedly registered to him was seen outside the H3 Arena in Bærum at the same time the act were recording their Eurovision backup performance, according to Metro.

And during Saturday's final, Graham Norton added to the speculation that it was Ben behind the wolf mask as he said that he thought the 'shorter wolf' was the A1 star.

Before Subwoolfer took to the stage, Graham, 59, teased in a voiceover: 'We think we know who one of them is! I'll tell you after they perform.'

And after their quirky performance, Graham revealed: 'We think the shorter wolf is Ben, Ben Adams of the boyband A1!'

Ben is originally from Ascot but currently lives in Norway with his fiancée Sara Skjoldnes and their daughter Skylar, leaving fans convinced he is in Subwoolfer.

Eurovision fans were quick to take to Twitter to share their thoughts on the rumours, with many saying they thought the mystery singer's voice was a dead ringer for Ben.

Others also suggested that if Ben was one half of Subwoolfer, then the second member could be Norwegian singer Christian Ingebrigtsen - who was also part of A1.
