Karl Stefanovic has reunited with Lisa Wilkinson the first time since her very public split from the Channel Nine show.

The former Today co-hosts were spotted looking friendly as they posed for photographs together at a Sunday event announcing the 2022 Logie nominees on the Gold Coast.

Karl, 47, and Lisa, 62, looked amicable as they were seen in public together for the first time since she released a tell-all book detailing her time at Channel Nine.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Lisa said: 'It was lovely to see Karl, and a reminder to both of us of the many great years we spent together.'

Recent excerpts released to promote the book detail Wilkinson's feud with Stefanovic in the weeks prior to her departure from Channel Nine.     

Other excerpts from Wilkinson's book tell of the the controversy surrounding his divorce from wife Cassandra Thorburn in 2016 and subsequent relationship and marriage to shoe designer Jasmine Yarbrough. 

Wilkinson released an excerpt describing her reaction to learning that her former colleague had found new love, just months after his highly-publicised marriage breakdown with his wife. 

She said Stefanovic then showed her a picture of the LA-based model and designer, nine years his junior, before confirming that he was 'madly in love' with her.

Wilkinson said she found him looking 'as happy and relaxed as I'd ever seen him' during the meeting, before he uttered the words: 'I've met someone.'
