Mama June's ex-fiancé Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson can breathe a sigh of relief after he was cleared of gum cancer.
A biopsy by Dr. Babak Larian revealed that white spots in the 50-year-old reality star's mouth showed no sign of malignancy, TMZ reported.
But to be safe, the former chalk miner will go under the knife to remove a benign tumor on his salivary gland.

Last month Thompson, who is the father of Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, 16, went to Los Angeles-based cosmetic dentist Dr. Tania Farshi for a set of new teeth.
While examining Sugar Bear's mouth, Dr. Farshi reportedly discovered signs of possible gum cancer of the lower mouth, including multiple white spots on the television personality's gums.
Sugar Bear had chewed tobacco for at least 12 years, which the outlet reported 'ended up rotting his teeth.'
