Amir Khan has confirmed that he will be heading back into the jungle for the All Star series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The former boxer, 35, who starred on the ITV hit show in 2017 and announced his retirement from boxing in May, said taking part in the series was 'one of the best things' he ever did. 

Speaking to The Sun, he revealed: 'I’ve been asked to do a very, very big show. I can’t give the name to you. But I’ll give you a clue; I’ve been on it before!'

He continued: 'I enjoyed it. It’s one of the best things I ever did. Going in the jungle, being away from everyone, being focused, focusing on you and what you want to do in life.

'The team I had around me was amazing, everyone was great and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had – apart from seeing spiders and snakes and s***.' 

Amir proved to be a favorite amongst the viewer's as he screamed with fear at the sight of creepy crawlies and secretly ate all the strawberries instead of sharing with his campmates.

A brand new all-stars version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is set to be filmed in South Africa, running in addition to the usual annual ITV programme.

And with 230 celebrities having competed across 20 series, MailOnline predicts which memorable contestants could try their luck again in the spin-off.

Viewers delighted in watching Gillian McKeith scream with terror as she faced trial after trial after trial, bringing back barely any food which led to rising tensions in the camp back in 2010.

But it was clear the stars were thrilled when Gillian was forced to pull out of the trial for 'fainting,' with Linford Christie taking her place and earning close to a full house.
