Rove McManus was on hand to help launch The Walt Disney Company's first big foray into homegrown Aussie production at an event in Sydney on Tuesday.
The TV and movie giant announced a series of major projects, worth millions, which will be produced in Australia and New Zealand.
They include a drama series based on the notorious Australian cult 'The Family' that will be streamed on DISNEY+ .

Other productions announced include lifestyle program Donna Hay Christmas, a six-part behind-the-scenes documentary about the Matildas football team and a drama-comedy set in Perth, Last Days of the Space Age, reports TVBlackbox.
Kylie Watson-Wheeler, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company in Australia and New Zealand said
