Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks will come to Australia next month for the premiere of Baz Luhrmann's new Elvis Presley biopic.
The 65-year-old - who plays Elvis' manager Colonel Tom Parker in the movie, titled Elvis - will join his co-stars for the Australian premiere on the Gold Coast on June 4.
He will then appear at the Sydney premiere, which is supported by Vivid Sydney, on June 5.

Elvis, which stars Austin Butler as the iconic American musician, was shot entirely on the Gold Coast during the Covid pandemic.
Austin will be attending the premiere, as will his Aussie co-star Olivia DeJonge.
The director will hold a Q&A about the film as part of Vivid Ideas' Global Storytellers series.
Elvis chronicles the life and career of the late King of Rock and Roll, from his early days as a child growing up in Mississippi to his ascent to stardom and his complex relationship with his manager.
