Elvis, which stars Austin Butler as the iconic American musician, was shot entirely on the Gold Coast during the Covid pandemic.

Austin will be attending the premiere, as will his Aussie co-star Olivia DeJonge.

The director will hold a Q&A about the film as part of Vivid Ideas' Global Storytellers series.

Elvis chronicles the life and career of the late King of Rock and Roll, from his early days as a child growing up in Mississippi to his ascent to stardom and his complex relationship with his manager.
