Martin Freeman looks unrecognisable as an old age pensioner in the Peacock miniseries, Angelyne, which documents the star's rise to fame in the 1980s, and was released on Thursday.
The actor, 50, transforms into fictional part Maurice Wallach, who helps the titular character find fame by renting billboards on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
With some help from the talented prosthetics team, the Sherlock star looks worlds away from his usual self while sporting heavy wrinkles and a bald crown.

Continuing his look with grey strands of side-hair, he donned a blue checkered shirt beneath a grey sweater, before putting on a pair of glasses.
Emmy Rossum, who plays the pin-up girl, was originally reported to have been involved with Angelyne in 2020, when she became attached to the project.
In addition to starring in the miniseries, the performer serves as one of its executive producers.
Other cast members include Hamish Linklater, Philip Ettinger and Alex Karpovsky. Michael Angarano and David Krumholtz also appear in recurring roles.
