Jason Momoa put work commitments to one side while undergoing tests on an apparent head injury over the weekend.
The actor has been on location in Rome while shooting high octane scenes for Fast X, the forthcoming tenth instalment in the hugely popular Fast & Furious film franchise.
But a recent Instagram post suggested Momoa, 42, had taken a knock on set in the Italian capital, with the actor's head in a brace as he prepared for an MRI scan.

Captioning the image, in which the muscular star lay prostate outside the cylindrical scanner, he wrote: 'You got to break some eggs to make an omelette. aloha j. thankful for my ohana and friends.' [sic]
The post prompted inevitable concern from followers, with one commenting: 'Oh no! You alright dude?'
A second added: 'Hope the doctors find the problem and can help fix it!! Sending healing vibes.'
Elsewhere a third wrote: 'Hopefully, this is a scene from a new movie... if not, prayers up!!! Much love, aloha!'
