Channel Nine's David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys have shared an emotional tribute to their friend and colleague Erin Jayne Plummer following the TV presenter's tragic death.
Erin, best known for hosting advertorials on Studio 10 and shopping channel TVSN, died 'suddenly' over the weekend at the age of 42.
Today Extra co-hosts Campbell and Jeffreys expressed their condolences on Tuesday's show, telling viewers that news of Erin's passing has left her friends and colleagues at Nine shattered.
'For those of you who have been watching our show for many years, you would recognise longtime advertorial presenter Erin Jayne Plummer,' a sombre Campbell began.
'Sadly, we heard the news yesterday that Erin Jayne had passed away and she was just a beautiful person and a friend to many of our colleagues here at Today Extra, and we just want to send our thoughts to her family and friends and show them some love and support at this really, really sad time,' he added.
Jeffreys appeared to hold back tears as she added: 'Much love to her husband and children and may she now rest in peace.'

Erin is survived by her husband and daughters. Her cause of death is unknown.
Her death was first announced on Studio 10 on Monday, with hosts Sarah Harris and Angela Bishop paying tribute to the 'gorgeous' mother of three who 'brightened up our mornings with her bubbly personality and megawatt smile'.
Friends and loved ones have since flocked to a public Facebook group set up to share memories of the late star.

Among the tributes are details of a memorial service being held for the TV host in Sydney on Wednesday.
The notice was concluded with the phone number for 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention service, Lifeline.
Erin was also a presenter for Aerobics Oz Style for six years. The instructional aerobics TV series, which aired from 1982 to 2005, had a global audience of 40 million people at its peak and was broadcast in more than 80 countries.

In addition to her TV career, Erin was an accomplished synchronised swimmer who represented Australia at three world championships and won 11 national titles.
