With Jurassic World Dominion set to make its much-anticipated premiere on June 10, the promotional push is on for what is now the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise.

The latest of the epic dinosaur adventure films is also being billed as the final movie in the Jurassic World trilogy.

With the end fast approaching, the women of Jurassic World Dominion - Laura Dern, Bryce Dallas Howard, and DeWanda Wise - sat down with Variety to dish about production being shut down during COVID-19, the low-down on Wise's new character, whether Howard, now an established director, will get to helm a Jurassic movie, and the iconic line from the first movie that wasn't initially in the script.

For the cover photo, Dern oozes style in a dark brown three-piece suit, alongside Howard, who's a color-perfect match in a long skirt and top ensemble. Wise rounds out the three-prong leading lady photo in a leggy off-white dress.

For this latest installment in the trilogy, Dern makes her long-awaited return as Dr. Ellie Sattler, after holding down the female lead in the original trilogy that began with Jurassic Park (1993), which saw her return for what was little more than a cameo in Jurassic Park III (2001).

But this time around Dern shares the heroic female role with Howard, who as Claire Dearing has been opposite Chris Pratt's Owen Grady in Jurassic World (2015) and its direct sequel Fallen Kingdom (2018).

It is Wise who plays the newbie of the franchise as Kayla Watts, a former Air Force pilot who aids Owen and Claire on their new mission amid a world of ferocious dinosaurs.

It's hard not to feel nostalgic when an end is near, considering the beginning for Dern and the rest of cast and crew of the original film was nearly 30 years ago.

While looking back, the Oscar-winning actress, 55, is still amazed her character's catchy line, 'Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth,' made it into the final cut.

Having been an add in to the script, the line has since been immortalized on t-shirts, coffee mugs and bumper stickers in the packaging of the franchise.

'God bless everyone involved who allowed this to be in a movie,' she confessed during the interview. 'Because that's what it felt like at that time. I felt like we got away with something.'

While reflecting back, Dern actually preferred another feminist line from Jurassic Park: 'We can discuss sexism in survival situations when I get back.'
