Gogglebox's Tom Malone Jr has told that participants on the show are not allowed to meet the other families unless it's for awards or similar events.
He revealed the 'weird' rule during an Instagram Q&A with fans on Friday.
Addressing his 321,000 followers, the reality star, 26, was asked if he stays in touch with anyone from Gogglebox other than his family.

Tom, who appeared for six years on the Channel 4 hit programme alongside his parents, brother and their beloved Rottweilers, explained.
He answered: 'So the weird thing with Gogglebox is, if you're on the show, you're not allowed to meet up with anyone else that is on the show, unless it's like an awards show that you're invited to or something.
'I still speak to a few people on social media and I still speak to all the crew and stuff...And see my mum and dad sometimes...'

Tom also opened up about being in a interracial relationship in the Q&A.
One supporter asked him if ever gets 'fed up of all the cr*p from the racist people about'.

He replied: 'So I just wanna address this quickly 'cause I get questions like this quite a lot and I know you mean well by it but just to reiterate, the reason that I care about things like this isn't because I'm in an interracial relationship...
'I've cared about this stuff for way longer than I've been in my relationship...I've grown up in a very multi-cultural environment.
'Some of the people that have had the most positive impact on my life have been Black people and other minorities...'
Tom and his girlfriend Bryony Briscoe began dating in June 2020 after meeting through mutual friends, and the following month he shared a sweet tribute to his girlfriend as she graduated from university.
