After 11 jam-packed days, Cannes Film Festival came to an end with its closing ceremony on Saturday evening.
But not before handing out its highest accolade, the Palme d’Or award - which director Ruben Ostlund's walked away with for his film Triangle Of Sadness.
It comes after Tom Cruise and Forest Whitaker both received honorary Palme d’Or awards during the first week of the festival.

It was Swedish director Ruben's second time bagging the prestigious prize, after his art film The Square was awarded it back in 2017.
But this year, it was drama-comedy Triangle Of Sadness that took the top spot, which stars Woody Harrelson and Harris Dickinson.
Talking at the event, Ruben explained: 'We wanted after the screening [for people] to go out together and have something to talk about.

'All of us agree that the unique thing with cinema is that we’re watching together. So we have to save something to talk about but we should also have fun and be entertained.'
And he rightly seemed pleased with the prestigious win, putting on an animated display as he posed with his shiny new award following the ceremony.
The awards were selected by a nine-member jury - which was headed by French actor Vincent Lindon, as the ceremony took place in Cannes’ Grand Lumière Theater.
