Phoebe Burgess has spoken of the 'intense' pressure she faced from the public and the press in the wake of her separation from ex-NRL star Sam Burgess.
Speaking on her Under the Gloss podcast this week, the 33-year-old reflected on her marriage breakdown during an interview with sex coach Georgia Grace.
The former journalist described to Georgia how it felt having strangers scrutinise her relationship, after Sam, also 33, admitted to cheating on her.

'I experienced it [people talking about my split] on a macro level,' said Phoebe, whose ex-husband's infidelity made headlines across Australia and eventually became fodder for a redemption story on reality show SAS Australia.
Phoebe admitted it was hard enough processing the separation without having to cope with the fact people 'outside your relationship' want to have their say.
She noted specifically that people like to 'weigh in' on relationship woes whenever there has been a breach of trust like infidelity.
