Tattoos are usually a symbol of rash youth - but it appears at the age of 65, Amanda Burton may be joining Dame Judi Dench and David Dimbleby, who decided to get inked later on in life.
The Silent Witness star was spotted leaving the Old Town Tattoo shop in Hastings earlier last month clutching a piece of paper, which could perhaps have been a design for an inking.
The actress looked in good spirits as she left the studio with much of her body covered up in a casual outfit, so as not to reveal where she she had her debut inking.

Amanda donned a blue and white striped shirt beneath a casual navy jacket, which she teamed with brown cropped trousers and black shoes.
She swept her blonde locks up into a loose up do, while she highlighted her features with a light palette of make-up.
The TV personality seemingly had a busy day running errands around the south coast as she carried a shopping bag out of the tattoo parlour, which was later seen packed with groceries and flowers.
Amanda's tattoo follows in the footsteps of another actress who got inked in their later years, with Dame Judi Dench getting her first tattoo for her 81st birthday.
