Amanda Peet is stepping into Anne Archer's role as betrayed wife Beth Gallagher in the Paramount+ TV series adaptation of the hit 1987 movie Fatal Attraction.
According to Variety, the 50-year-old actress is set to star opposite Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan in the upcoming series.
Jackson, 43, will play Beth's cheating husband Dan Gallagher while Lizzy Caplan, 39, is taking on the role of deranged stalker Alex Forrest.

Original stars: Glenn Close, Michael Douglas and Archer starred in the original movie; pictured in 1987
Michael Douglas played Dan in the original Adrian Lyne-directed film while Glenn Close portrayed Alex.
James Dearden wrote the screenplay, which was based on his 1980 short film Diversion. The movie was met with critical acclaim and became a box office smash, raking in $320.1 million worldwide.
Fatal Attraction was nominated for six Academy Awards including a Supporting Actress nod for Archer. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA Award.
