Tuesday night's Love Island ended with plenty of drama as Italian hunk Davide Sanclimenti opted to couple up with Gemma Owen in the first recoupling of the series.
The bombshell contestant held the power after it was revealed 24 hours previously that he had to chose one of the girls to pair up with, despite the girls already being in couples with the others lads.
And Davide's decision left Gemma's partner Liam Llewellyn single and vulnerable, with the Masters student at risk of being dumped from the villa.

After spending the day getting to know the girls, the evening saw decision time for business owner Davide as he had to chose which girl to steal from one of the other boys.
Speaking in front of the firepit, he explained that his decision had not been an easy one as he had just 24 hours to get to know the other girls.
He then added: 'It's not just attraction, yes she's a stunning girl. We really had a good time and I would like to know her more. The girl I would like to couple up with is... Gemma.'

As Michael Owen's daughter made her way over to her new partner, Liam looked visibly gutted as he could only sit by and watch.
But his misery continued as he then received a text which confirmed his single status and revealed that anyone not in a couple by the end of the week is at risk of being dumped from the villa.
The opening scenes saw Gemma made her intentions clear with Davide as she told him that she didn't like to be second best.

As the Italian hunk pulled her for a chat, the daughter of Michael Owen asked him if he had good morals, to which he remained coy.
Reprimanding him, she uttered: 'nah you don't do you, you're a little s**t!'
After being questioned why she said this about him, Gemma said: 'because you couldn't give me a straight answer. Do you mess people around?'
To which Davide responded: 'No'.
On his impending decision, Gemma then added: 'I feel like the power has proper got to your head.'
As Davide implied he like the power during their flirty chat, Gemma then added: 'Oh my God, I might remove myself from this situation so you've got to pick someone else!
'I don't like competition, I want to be first, not second!'
And it seemed as though Davide liked Gemma straightforwardness as her words apparently made an impact on his later decision.
The show made its much-anticipated return to screens on Monday night, with ten hopeful singletons heading to a brand new Mallorcan villa in search of 'fun, flirting and fifty grand.'
