Julie Andrews said she would be willing to take another trip to Genovia for The Princess Diaries 3, but the story would have to be right.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet ahead of her American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Award, the 86-year-old actress hinted at what it would take for her to reprise the role as queen Clarisse Rinaldi.
'It depends what the story is, and if they can come up with something, that would be wonderful,' she said.

But knowing how difficult it is to get lighting to strike three times, especially since it's been nearly 20 years since The Princess Diaries: Royal Engagement hit the big screen, the Oscar winner added the caveat, 'But if not, there will be other things.'
The Mary Poppins star played the dowager queen of Genovia in the original The Princess Diaries, who was ruling the country until her granddaughter could take over the throne.
Anne Hathaway, played Mia, in her breakout performance as an awkward high schooler who learns she's actually a her royal highness.
