The former Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, was spotted exploring Cairns, in Far North Queensland, on Wednesday night and even stopped to take photos with fans.
In one snap posted to Instagram, the American funnyman posed alongside a local teenager at the Timezone videogame arcade on Abbott Street.

The Queensland tourist hotspot has become a hub of A-list activity recently thanks to the movie Wizards! being filmed there for the next three months.
Wizards!, which is being directed by Australian filmmaker David Michôd, also stars Franz Rogowski, Orlando Bloom and Naomi Scott.

Pete's sighting in Cairns comes two days after his girlfriend Kim Kardashian shared photos from their recent tropical getaway together.
It is unclear if the photos from the beachside trip were taken in Australia. Kim has not yet been pictured Down Under.
