Reality star Cory Wharton and his girlfriend Taylor Selfridge have welcomed their newborn daughter Maya home from the NICU after open heart surgery.
Maya, who is Cory's second daughter with Taylor and third overall, had the operation just days after birth due to a tricuspid atresia diagnosis.
Cory, 31, who appeared on The Challenge and Teen Mom, joyously posted a family photo on Tuesday that was taken in the backyard after the baby came home.

'We have had some dark days, but today isn’t one of them,' Cory wrote alongside the picture. 'MAYA got discharged from the hospital and we finally made it home. Thank you everybody for all your uplifting words and prayers over the past days.'
Taylor was holding Maya in a covered carrier, while Cory cradled the couple's elder daughter Mila, two, who in a heartwarming touch was wearing a 'big sister' shirt.
The day after Maya left the NICU, Cory posted an Instagram video montage documenting her experiences there.
Cory and Taylor frequently looked in on their baby and were able to spend some quality time with her amid her health struggle.

Over the course of the video, Cory could be seen at various points cradling and bottle-feeding Maya, as well as brushing her hair.
The baby's parents had brought her a stuffed bunny, which could be seen tucked under one of her arms as she caught some sleep.
'Real quick I want to say thank you to all the nurses who looked after Maya & everybody made us feel as comfortable as we could in this situation,' Cory wrote: '& A big thank you to the CHD community and everyone for your positive messages I read all the stories and it just makes me feel a lot better so thank you.'

'Maya had her first successful surgery on Tuesday and now she’s in the recovery process [prayer hands emoji] She is doing very well, we can’t wait to bring her home [house emoji] & show her the love that she needs.'
Cory and Taylor have a two-year-old daughter named Mila together and Cory has a five-year-old daughter with ex and fellow Teen Mom star Cheyenne Floyd.
