Sylvia Jeffreys called out her brother-in-law Karl Stefanovic live on air after he hijacked a Channel Nine executive's farewell segment.
James Birtles signed off as executive producer of the Today show on Friday. He is leaving the network to take on a new role at Sky News Australia.
Stefanovic, 47, and his co-anchor Allison Langdon went to the control room to give Birtles a proper send-off in the closing moments of the show at 9:10am.
