The Rolling Stones rocked an energetic performance at Giuseppe Meazza stadium in Milan on Tuesday as Mick Jagger, 78, made his first return to the stage since falling ill with Covid.

His bandmates Ronnie Wood, 75, and Keith Richards, 78, joined the rocker as the legendary band played for excited audiences.

Mick appeared in good health and high spirits as he belted at the mic for his performance in black skinny jeans and a glistening pink bomber jacket, embroidered with lacy black designs.

Ronnie also made a colourful appearance in a crimson and turquoise jacket over a white graphic print T-shirt as Keith sported a yellow beanie with a purple button-up.

Steve Jordan - who is touring with the band following the death of long-standing drummer Charlie Watts - looked chic in a black blazer suit.

Frontman Mick was also snapped jumping up and down the stage as he enthusiastically danced and hyped the audience up.

It comes as he this week shared an update with fans after his Covid-19 diagnosis forced The Rolling Stones to postpone two dates on the SIXTY tour.
