There's a new girl entering the Love Island villa on Wednesday night's show, as ITV bosses line up sizzling singer Antigoni Buxton to stir up drama.

Who is Love Island's new bombshell? 

The 26-year-old is a singer-songwriter from London and told how she was inspired to take part in the show out of a desire to have 'as many new experiences as possible'. 

'I really just want to say ‘yes’ to things. Why not? It’ll be fun. I’m a Cypriot girl and I love being in the sun. I’ve got nothing to lose!' she says. 

Who is Antigoni's famous mum Toni?

Antigoni is no stranger to the world of television as her mother is celebrity chef Tonia Buxton, 54, who's a regular guest on Sunday Brunch.

Antigoni's mother Toni shared her excitement at her daughter entering the villa, writing on Instagram on Tuesday night: 'I can not believe that my @antigoni is in the Love Island Villa, she mentioned she would be sunbathing this week I didn’t think she meant in Mallorca!'

She added: 'We are all so excited for you and know you will be amazing! You have always been an island girl, so I know you will fit right in! 

'Hoping you all love and support my girl, I know she will make us proud! ❤️

Who is her Love Island star ex boyfriend?  

Antigoni is the ex-girlfriend of 2018 Islander Jack Fowler, 26.

The curly-haired beauty had been in a nine-year relationship with her childhood sweetheart before they split up so she could focus on music.

She then dated former Islander Jack for a few months, but their romance fizzled out. 

Antigoni has referenced her love life in her music, including single Red Flag, which she released earlier this year.

The song is about her desire to meet men with 'red flags' in order not to fall in love having just got out of a longterm relationship.

But now singletons with 'green flags' are very much on the agenda as she's looking to find a man to settle down with on Love Island.

Antigoni says: 'I’ve been single for almost a year and a half and for the whole of the last year my goal has been to have as many different experiences as possible.' 

'I’ve only ever been in love once - I don’t think I’ve been in love since. I think I fall in lust and infatuation quickly.'

How many Instagram followers does Antigoni have?  

Antigoni has over 32.2k followers on Instagram, with the number jumping up by over 10k since it was announced she was entering the villa.

Her page features an array of glamorous bikini pictures and photos of her family including snaps with her mum Toni and famous faces like Anthony Joshua.

What is her job? 

The bombshell isn a singer/songwriter whose music has been described as a mix of 'hip hop with UK beats and Greek/Middle Eastern elements'.

Antigoni released a new single called Hit List just weeks before entering the villa.

A pal told MailOnline: 'Antigoni is certainly going to turn some heads. She's great fun and is naturally very beautiful, as well as being talented with a good head on her shoulders.

'Her music has always been her priority, but she just couldn't turn down the chance to go on Love Island as she's a big fan of the show and it also means she's guaranteed a fun summer.' 

Antigoni was signed to Island Records when she was 20 by former president Darcus Beese, the man who also signed Amy Winehouse to the label.

In April this year she also hosted a star-studded event to launch her single Red Flag, which was attended by the likes of boxer Anthony Joshua.
