The Sugababes have announced they are heading on their first UK headline tour in over two decades.

The reformed original trio – Keisha Buchanan, Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena - revealed on Thursday that they are set to embark on a 17-date tour across the country, noting that they've now 'come full circle'.

The group joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning to discuss their comeback, with the group also speaking about the 'scrutiny' they faced as teens and the 'appreciation' they feel being back together again.

Hot on the heels of their headline Mighty Hoopla performance this month, the group told how they are set to take to the stage at Glastonbury on Friday before heading off on their very own tour.

Sharing their joy about the tour, the Sugababes, who first formed in 1998, said: 'We’re so excited to come full circle and announce our own headline UK tour.

'We’ll be hitting the road in October and November - can’t wait to see you all there.'

The ladies, who boasts six Number One singles, will be performing classics including Overload, Freak Like Me and Run For Cover.

Amid the announcement, the group appeared for a chat on This Morning, with Siobhan, 38, speaking about how the group coped after forming aged just 13.

She explained: 'There was obviously a lot of scrutiny, we were three awkward teenagers and we didn’t go to stage school or anything like that and we’re still not media trained as you can probably tell.

'But you’re really hard on yourself and it’s so different this time round, we’re just so much more relaxed.'
