Now Gwyneth Paltrow is trying maderotherapy – also known as non-surgical Brazilian butt lift – in a bid to banish cellulite.
The actress and Goop founder, 49, posted a screenshot of the wooden implements on Instagram on Thursday and said she has gotten into the therapy since visiting Costa Rica.

Alongside the picture, she explained: 'Just ordered this set from Amazon. I am very into maderotherapy since I went to Costa Rica. Apparently good for cellulite.'
The set, priced at $59.99 (£49), includes a wood Swiss cup, contouring board and grooved and cubed roller sticks, both 17in.
The cup claims to use suction to break down fat and transfer it to the body's lymphatic system for disposal.
The contouring board is said to help remove excess fat while the roller sticks break up adhesions when moved across skin.

Her latest beauty tip comes just days after Gwyneth unveiled her lifestyle brand's Goop latest addition to their raunchy range - a $98 vibrator.
Taking to Instagram, the actress showed off the gadget in a tongue-in-cheek skit, demonstrating how it's 'small and mighty' power could stop her blissful aesthetic in its tracks.
In the clip, Gwyneth can be seen questioning why she could hear idyllic classical music in her kitchen, before discovering the toy perfectly placed in a box.
