He is a singer going viral for his protest song criticising Partygate and she is the future Queen destined to political neutrality, but Tom Walker tells me that he and the Duchess of Cambridge still make a good musical duo.
In December they performed together at Westminster Abbey, and Tom says they had a 'few laughing moments in rehearsal' as Kate played the piano to his vocals.
The Scottish singer also says he would love to collaborate more in the future.
Tom works with mental health charity Mind and says how pleased he is that the Duchess is trying to break the stigma around addiction.
