The New Orleans-born entertainer told the outlet Rolling Stone that her employment with the musical was terminated, and she was kept off its final three shows, after accepting the last-minute invite from the iconic band.

Grammy-nominated performer Chanel joined the British rockers to sing the classic Gimme Shelter at San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, on June 21, a night the musical was running.

The outlet noted that her chance to take the stage with the band was a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity - and a good chance to cede the stage to her understudy - even though it would 'eventually cost her her' job in the Tina musical.
