Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott has flown to Wimbledon with his sexologist girlfriend Chantelle Otten after using a sex toy on her in a Sydney restaurant.

The wheelchair tennis star, 31, posed on the manicured greens of sunny London on Thursday to enjoy the second week of the international tournament.

Stepping away from the classic Wimbledon white, Dylan opted for an all black outfit with shades, while Chantelle matched in a black shirt and jeans as the couple watched world number three Novak Djokovic take on Aussie star Thanasi Kokkinakis  before enjoying a drink with friends.

After catching a game, the couple posed in front of the famed lawns with friends and enjoyed a drink - with Dylan sipping on a beer while Chantelle opted for a traditional glass of Pimms.

It comes after the star sparked debate on social media after a video surfaced of him controlling a vibrating sex toy that was inside Chantelle while they were out to dinner with friends.

The 2022 Australian of the Year was seen gleefully adjusting the intensity of Otten's vibrator via an app on his phone, before her friends touched her crotch so they could feel the buzzing.

The footage has ruffled feathers on Twitter, with some critics saying Alcott's behaviour was 'unbecoming' of a role model who was awarded one of his country's highest honours, while others found his antics either hilarious or harmless.

'This is gutter behaviour and no civilised society should allow it to be normalised. Time to cancel Australian of the Year,' one Twitter user whinged.

'As Australian of The Year, do we really need to read about your sexual adventures at a Sydney restaurant? is anything sacred in your world? Sort yourself out,' another grumbled.

Others begged Alcott to keep his sex life behind closed doors in the future.

'Sorry Dylan, you have lost me! Do what you want in private but keep it off social media,' one critic wrote.

However, Alcott did receive plenty of positive feedback, with many supporters saying his racy date night with Otten made the sporting hero even more likeable.

'I just read an article about Dylan Alcott, a respected Paralympian, disability advocate and Australian of the Year, using a sex toy on his partner at a restaurant. Frankly I'm shocked. I didn't think I could like him more than I already did, but here we are,' one fan tweeted.

Others defended Alcott's behaviour against the Twitter pile-on, writing: 'Dylan Alcott did nothing that his partner didn't want him to do. This whole woke society has gone too far. As far as I can tell he is in a loving relationship #LeaveDylanAlone.'
