And tensions come to a head in Wednesday night's episode of Love Island as the Main Villa and Casa Amor finally run out of time to make a decision and are forced to choose whether they stick or twist.
With the recoupling looming there are mixed feelings in the air ahead of the big ceremony - which sees Laura Whitmore arrive to break the news to the Islanders.

After learning about the impending coupling via text, Paige Thorne declares: 'I am one of those people that is a glass half full, I am actually really excited to go back just so I can see Jacques again.'
However, she doesn't know that Jacques O'Neill has been exploring a connection with bombshell Cheyanne Kerr, with the couple sharing a kiss.
Tasha Ghouri - who is coupled up with Andrew Le Page but has been exploring her connection with Billy Brown in Casa Amor - is not as certain, musing: 'Ok things are getting real now…'

A big decision also lies in hand for Dami Hope, who is coupled up with Indiyah Polack but took new girl Summer Botwe to the terrace for a private smooch.
Mulling over his big decision to stick or twist, Dami admits: 'My head’s fried, scrambled, whatever way you like your eggs. That’s the way my head is right now. I’m scared.'
Meanwhile Indiyah admits that she is torn between Dami and newcomer Deji Adeniyi.

Indiyah pulls Deji for a chat to discuss their situation, and even speaks about the possibility of taking him back to the main villa with her.
Deji admits his attraction to Indiyah as he says: 'I came in here with an open mind. Naturally I've gravitated more towards you. Not even just attraction, it's just on so many different levels.
'In the back of my mind I still can't help but think about the situation that you're in and obviously it does scare me because I do like you.'

Indiyah then admits she does have a connection with Dami before saying that if she did take Deji back to the villa, then she would still want to get to know Dami too.
'Obviously I have a connection with Dami, there's not nothing there. But in the real world, I'm used to dating. It doesn't invalidate my feelings for anything,' she explains.
'Hypothetically speaking, if you were to come back to the villa with me I would have to have those conversations still with Dami.'

Deji agrees with her and says that the 'ball is 100 per cent in your court' as he waits to find out what her decision will be.
He adds: 'I don't want you to ever be in a situation where you feel pressured to do whatever. Do you know what I mean? The ball's 100% in your court.'
Elsewhere, an emotional Andrew - who has been getting to know newcomer Coco Lodge - opens up about his turmoil to Jacques.
