Legendary actress Jenifer Lewis looked dazzling as she accepted her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.
The 65-year-old icon kept cool in a yellow chiffon flowing pant suit with butterfly sleeves and wide legs, which she accessorized with a chunky gold necklace, hoop earrings and various bangles on her arms.
The I Love That for You star styled her hair in natural curls and completed the look with a bright red lip.

Her longtime pal Debbie Allen, 72, saluted the Black-ish star in a moving speech, in which she described her friend as 'dynamic and so amazing.'

That she is joining the ranks and her name leaves an indelible mark for time, generations... so today, as we put her name in this marquee of greatness, we can only think about what all is yet to come' the Grey's Anatomy gushed.
Debbie was stunning in a red and black long sleeve dress with bell cuffs. The acclaimed artist was a director and actress on the sitcom A Different World for five years and hired Jenifer to play the dean on the successful series from 1990-1993.

In accepting the honor, Jenifer responded to comments about why she hadn't received the honor earlier, explaining, 'What you don't know is, I just wasn't ready because I had not done the real work. The real work was off stage and off camera.'
