Country star Kenny Chesney is mourning the loss of a female fan, who passed away after his concert at the Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
Following the news that a woman plunged to her death after falling off an escalator at the stadium, the Don't Blink singer, 54, expressed his sorrow over the tragedy.
'I was devastated to learn of the loss of someone after our show. There had been so much joy, so much heart coming from the people of Denver last night — and to hear this is heartbreaking,' he said in a statement to The Denver Post on Sunday.

The accident occurred at around 10:52 p.m., after the concert. The concertgoer, who has yet to be identified, fell to the concourse below. The distance of the drop remains unknown.
