The Islanders of Love Island USA got a surprise visit from host Sarah Hyland... just after two couples essentially swapped places.

The 31-year-old actress arrived to inform the islanders that the viewing public has been voting for their favorite couples, revealing that the two couples with the least votes were on the brink of elimination.

The votes didn't reflect the brand new couples that were established on the Tuesday episode - with Zeta Morisson, 29, of Surrey, United Kingdom, and Timmy Pandolfini, 29, of New York City, getting back together.

Their exes Bria Bryant, 24, of Clifton, New Jersey, and Jeff Christian Jr., 25 of Cincinnati, seemed to be hooking up... though the votes for their previous couplings threatened to split them both up.

Sarah Hyland surprised the Islanders in a sequined dress, asking them to gather around the fire pit. 

Sarah told them that the public had been voting for their favorite couple and that the Islanders in the bottom two couples risk being dumped from the island tonight.

The bottom two couples were the now-exes Bria and Timmy and 26-year-old Texas native Mady McLanahan and 23-year-old Minneapolis, Minnesota native Andy Voyen. 

Sarah said two of them would leave the villa tonight and that the decision would be down to their fellow Islanders and not the public, the results of which will be revealed on Wednesday's episode.

When episode 13 of the show opened, Jeff told Zeta that he was bothered that she still seemed to have feelings for Timmy.

'I'm not going to sit here and act like I don't like the boy,' Zeta said. 'I mean there's lingering feelings and it just needs to be talked about.'

Zeta told Jeff she wanted to give him 100% but just needed to have a conversation with Timmy first.

'I can't do that until I know where he and I stand,' Zeta said.

'Do what you got to do,' Jeff said.

The confrontation in front of the other Islanders happened after Zeta asked Timmy to tell her where they stood.

'I do want to figure out what is going on with us,' Zeta said. 'I can't shake it. I think about you every single day.'

Bria was not happy when she saw Zeta was talking to Timmy.

Bria stormed over when she saw Timmy talking to his ex Zeta, as Timmy looked worried when he saw Bria coming.

'You shouldn't be more scared of her than you are with me,' Zeta, 29, of Surrey, United Kingdom, said.

'This is just not okay,' Bria, 24, of Clifton, New Jersey, said. 'If this is what you want to do just please let me know.'

'I will be honest, I do feel very much. I feel a lot of strong feelings towards Zeta,' Timmy, 29, of New York City, said.

'So that's who you want to go with?' Bria asked.

'Yeah,' Timmy said as Bria walked off, adding later in a confessional that her time with Timmy was wasted.

'This is my time!' Bria said.

'Do you miss me,' Zeta asked Timmy.

'I do miss you,' Timmy said.

Timmy agreed that what they had was very strong. Zeta tried to get Timmy to kiss her but he said it wasn't respectful.

'You know I want to kiss you, right?' Timmy said. 'I just got to lay next to her tonight.'

Timmy and Zeta kissed. Bria walked in the house crying and her brother Chaz, 21, comforted her.

'It's so f***ing hurtful,' Bria said crying. 'You feel you are not good enough for someone.'

Timmy and Zeta held hands and kissed. Zeta then walked over to explain to Jeff Christian Jr., 25, about what happened. She told him that her heart was with Timmy.

'Do what you got to do,' Jeff said. 'I'm not mad at you.'

In a confessional, Jeff said he still had feelings for Zeta.
