The cast of Love Island 2022 were reunited on Thursday for the first time since leaving the villa, with plenty of funny, awkward and romantic moments discussed by show host Laura Whitmore for the annual reunion show. 

And after reflecting on their once in a lifetime experience together, the cast let loose with a raucous afterparty hosted by Antigoni Buxton, with the group seen downing shots, dirty dancing and tucking into slices of pizza.

An array of Islanders who were unable to meet in the villa were brought together for the wild celebrations - yet the show's finalists, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Davide Sanclimeni, Indiyah Polack, Dami Hope, Tasha Ghouri, Andrew Le Page, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish were nowhere to be seen at the celebrations. 

Earlier in the night it was reported that Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe got into a 'very heated exchange' during filming for the reunion show - which is set to be full of drama.

The reunion, which will air on Sunday night, was pre-recorded on Thursday evening with most of the 2022 cast in attendance.

And one audience member shared her experience on social media, claiming that producers had to 'step in' as the Casa Amor bombshells had an explosive row, which fans are convinced is over Josh Le Grove.

The fan wrote on Twitter: 'Just been at the #LoveIslan reunion episode filming, very heated exchange between coco and summer production had to step in and close it down

‘Summer made a comment about friends not being real friends on the outside, and Coco was trying to defend herself by saying “It was all banter”, kept going back and forth over the boys (Josh & Billy) for a fair few minutes, production obvs had no idea of context from podcast ep.’

The ITV viewers then revealed Coco stormed off, with audience members encouraging her to return: 'Coco left after that exchange and we had to cheer her to come back in...

'Luca ran over to Jay, Charlie and antigonis table to get the gossip as the reaction on the sofa was a bit mad.'

Things recently turned frosty between the girls as they unfollowed each other after leaving the villa.

Fans believe the former friends are feuding after Coco made it known she had rejected Josh's sexual advance - while he was thought to be dating Summer.

Coco appeared on the Saving Grace podcast, where she described Josh as 'so fit' and implied the pair of them nearly slept together after being dumped from the villa.

She revealed to host Grace Barry that after she and Josh were dumped they were placed in a nearby villa with two chaperones.

Grace immediately cut in to ask: 'Did you sh*g him?'

Coco replied: 'No and I'm actually annoyed because I feel like I could have now. Talking to him now after I'm like I feel like it could have happened.

'He was like 'Oh I'm horny' and I was like right I'm gonna take myself to bed. But I don't know why I did that because sorry he's so fit'.

She went on: 'But we are really close now, like we spend like every day, like all day together and I'm like just let me try once. I even say to him: "Just let me try once please Josh!"'

This surprised fans who were under the impression that Coco was friends with Summer after being in Casa Amor with her.

Summer and Josh had appeared to confirm their relationship last week, when they stepped out hand-in-hand to The Prey gala screening on Tuesday.

The former Love Island stars hinted there was a spark between them when they were interviewed on Aftersun on Sunday by host Laura Whitmore, with the pair enjoying a date live on the show.

And after Josh declared he couldn't 'wait to see' what happened between the pair during his Aftersun appearance, the pair put on a cosy display as they stepped out in the UK capital just 48 hours later.

Meanwhile, Love Island winners Ekin-Su and Davide were dressed to the nines as they posed for a glamorous picture together ahead of filming the reunion show.

The Turkish actress, looked incredible in a busty white dress ahead of heading to the set as she cosied up to the Italian hunk, also 27, who was dapper in an open shirt.

Also getting their glam on before the show were the other three finalist couples Tasha, Andrew, Dami , Indiyah , Gemma and Luca - who reunited on social media after claims of him being snubbed on her Instagram. 

Ekin wowed in her revealing number that had a thigh-split and showed off her tan and was teamed with bow silver heels.

She wore her honey tresses in loose waves over her shoulders while opting for a glamorous makeup look as she wrote in the caption: 'Guess who's back!' 

Elsewhere dancer Tasha, 23, showed off her abs in a silver co-ord as she slipped into a crop top and high-waisted trousers with belt detailing.
