Mark Ronson marked his first wedding anniversary with his wife Grace Gummer by sharing a heartfelt tribute on Monday as well as a slew of vacation photos. 

While reflecting on their whirlwind romance, he confessed that before meeting the daughter of Hollywood star Meryl Streep, 36, the record producer, 46, couldn't relate to some of his friends' love stories. 

'When people used to tell me their spouse was their best friend, i thought they were spouting hallmark nonsense or that they were some freak anomaly of love,' he captioned a series of dreamy photos of them snuggling at sunset.

Now he identifies as 'someone who spouts hallmark nonsense or is 'a freak anomaly of love.' 

Ronson continued: 'Or maybe i just married the most incredible human being around. Happy Anniversary to my darlingest, you've made me happy beyond my wildest ❤️.' 

Gummer and Ronson had been dating for about a year before they tied the knot on the British DJ and producer's 46th birthday.
