Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been house hunting in Los Angeles for months with claims that they had plunked down $60 million for James Packer's Beverly Hills estate in June.
But on Wednesday TMZ reported that the newlyweds have not bought a new home and now they have no plans to.
Rather, they will spend a year renovating the sizeable mansion Lopez already owns in Bel-Air before moving back into the dwelling in late 2023.
In the meantime the power couple will be staying at Packer's rental.
This comes after news Ben has put his Pacific Palisades mansion on the market for $30 million.

He first snapped up the property, complete with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a gym, screening room and spa, for $19.2 million back in 2018. At the time, he bought the plush home in a bid to be near his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he remains amicable since their 2015 split.
Now they will wait until JLo's home is redone.
The site claimed that the plan is now to call Lopez's Mediterranean style mansion, which she purchased from actress Sela Ward in 2016, their dream forever home.
She already renovated it once after she purchased it, but they are going to do it again.
The home already has plenty of room for both their kids - he has three (daughters Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13 and 10-year-old son Samuel) with ex-wife Garner and she has twins (Emme and Max, 14) with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
