The Block: Tree Change viewers have slammed the show's contestants for 'not respecting the heritage' designs of the Macedon Ranges properties after photos emerged of their near-completed projects.
The images show the properties with large contemporary extensions which have been tacked onto the small original homes.
Fans of the show labelled the designs as 'ugly' and 'hideous' across several Facebook pages.

According to Kidspot, one wrote: 'Why bother putting little old farmhouses there if you're just going to dwarf them with hideous and completely unsympathetic extensions?'
