Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has been rushed to hospital after suffering a second 'cardiac incident'.
The actor, 51, who played Xander in the 1990s series, was taken to A&E for treatment and is now resting and 'focusing on medical appointments,' his sister revealed in an Instagram post shared on his behalf.
Last year Nicholas, underwent surgery after suffering 'paralysis in his genitals' and legs, with his manager claiming it was caused by having to sleep in a concrete-floored jail cell after his arrest for prescription fraud.

Nicholas' sister shared a collection of snaps of the star being taken to hospital on a stretcher before being moved into a wheelchair, along with a third image of the TV star waiting to be seen in a bed.
She shared a lengthy post explaining this was the second 'cardiac incident' Nicholas had suffered since having surgery.
'Nicky sends his love and wanted me to apologise that he hasn't been going live as much lately and to give everyone an update,' she wrote.

'Nicky is doing fine now but he had to be rushed to emergency about two weeks ago because of a cardiac incident (tachycardia/arrhythmia).
'Some of you might remember he had a similar incident after his second spinal surgery last year (for Cauda Equina) but this time.
'He is trying to get a little more rest and has been concentrating on medical appointments.'

Back in October Nicholas' manager revealed the star had been forced to pull out of all of the promotions for his upcoming film after suffering paralysis in his legs and genitals.
The troubled actor was struggling to walk amid 'deep-seated medical problems and immense pain,' his manager told DailyMail.com.

Brendon was arrested for using a false identity to try and purchase prescription drugs in September 2021.
He was charged with prescription fraud of a controlled substance and for refusing to identify himself when stopped by a police officer in Indiana last month.
