Pete Wicks has revealed he nearly drowned when a stunt went horribly wrong while filming Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The TOWIE star, 33, found himself in danger when he was tasked with jumping from a helicopter, only for his huge backpack of essentials to knock him unconscious as he hit the water.
The reality star was left with a broken rib and was floating face down forcing production staff to rush to help during in the terrifying incident.

He told The Sun: 'I got it wrong, I got it very wrong. I think my leg got a little bit caught in the bag and I went straight down onto the bag, knocked myself out and broke my ribs'.
And while he doesn't remember much due to blacking out Pete said that he can recall rescuers turning him onto his back and into a rescue boat.
'I didn't want to get in the boat because if you start something you have to finish it, so then I remember trying to swim back. We got to shore and then I realised, 'f**k I've actually hurt myself here'.'

He went on to say that he was left confused by the impact and struggled to move his upper body.
'I didn't really know exactly what was going on and even moving my arms was quite painful just because the pressure that was on my ribs and everything, so yeah, it just wasn't nice.'
MailOnline have contacted Channel 4 for comment.
It comes after Pete was left in tears as he got stuck into the intense tasks and ended up breaking down after he was forced to fight Jennifer Ellison.

He was reduced to tears after the training staff pitted him against Jennifer, 39, in the milling challenge.
In the interviews, he said: 'I just don't know if I can fight a bird,' saying he hates the idea of anyone fighting his mum.
Meanwhile, Jennifer added in her interview: 'I'm all for equal opportunities and everything, but I would be a bit scared fighting a fella, because they're stronger than you and bigger than you.'
The brutal fight ended with Pete striking Jennifer in the head, leaving him shaken and upset.
